Thank you for playing  A POSTERIORI !!!

I didn't think that this would be my first fully finished game, but it is! I'm very happy with how it turned out. It started just as a random idea in April 2023. The characters (Tenjin, Wendy, Nao, etc) were all pre-existing. Originally for Tenjin's story, it was just going to be a visual novel. In 2022 I was actually working on said visual novel. The story wasn't really that interesting so I rewrote it. This rewrite was the current lore for a while. Until very recently when I actually figured out some key details. It was quite literally game changing XD. 

Rpg maker 2003 is probably my favorite game engine. There is so much you can do with it. I wanted to test out if I could make a really randomized game, and so I did. For those who are unaware this game is fully RNG. The order you see scenes/dreams in is random. Plenty more chance things are in game too. It was really fun to make this game. The code didn't always work fully but it was a good learning experiance. Throughout the whole process, so many scenes were altered or removed. I wanted at least 5 playable parts in game, but only 3 made it. In the files there is stuff for a apartment level. If I ever update this game I will add it in because I really do like that idea. It was just too daunting. Pixel art is really difficult for me due to my art style being more fast and sketchy. I am currently trying to fix that though. 

I could go way more into story stuff, but I think it would be best to let the next game do the talking. There is more to this story. The next game will be less abstract in ways, but hopefully will still have the charm of A posteriori in it. I don't know when it'll be started or finished. First I want to complete my Yume Nikki Fangame, Threshold. It has been bugging me that it is unfinished for a very very very long time now. Completing it will be very difficult and probably time consuming, but I must do it to lay it to rest.
